Amidst speculation that Super Eagles interim coach, Samson Siasia may not hand the skiper’s band to CSKA Moscow forward, Ahmed Musa, the footballer has declared that he is more concerned about ensuring that the Super Eagles give a god account of themselves against Egypt tomorrow and pick the maximum points.

“[Whether I am] captain or not, it is not my business. I am here to play for my country Nigeria. I will give my all to ensure we qualify for the Nations Cup. Missing the last edition was painful and we will not like to miss the next edition because some of us may not have the opportunity [for the next edition].

“I am not in the Super Eagles to be the captain; I am only here to ensure that my country wins the match against Egypt. I am only thinking of how we would win the match, nothing more. If I am made the captain, there is no problem, if [the captaincy] is taken away today, I have no problem with that,” he said.

He, however, appealed to fans in Kaduna to pray and give their total support to the team.

“I want the fans in Kaduna to support us and pray for us. But I can assure you that we are going to win, even if it is half goal” he stated.
