Tension is building in Ogoni area of Rivers State as voters are complaining that election is yet to commence while election materials are not available in the area.

Elections are said to have taken place only in Gokana and Khana in the entire Ogoni area.

Gokana is the stronghold of Senator Magnus Abe.

At the time of this report, security operatives were being deployed to the area to forestall violence.

Election was cancelled in six local government areas.
