The Federal High Court, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, yesterday said that the alleged abductor of a teenager, Ese Oruru be returned to prison. Justice H.A Ngajiwa in his ruling said that Yunusa also known as Yellow should be remanded in prison pending the determination of his bail application.

The ruling by the judge was sequel to the inability of both the defence team of the suspect, led by Mr. Kayode Olaosebikan, and the police prosecutors headed by Kenneth Dika to present ‘cited authorities’ in their arguments during the court session. After listening to submissions by both parties on the bail application of Yunusa who is facing a five counts of criminal abduction, illicit sex, sexual exploitation and unlawful carnal knowledge, Justice Ngajiwa reserved ruling on the bail application to a later date even as he ordered that Yunusa should be remanded in prison.
