Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday held a special session in honour of late Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, who died in a motor accident along with his wife and son on Sunday.
Similarly, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, told the council that the driver of the vehicle was unlicensed.
Oyeyemi, told the council in a presentation of the accident's Road Traffic Crash Investigation Interim Report that over speeding was largely to blame for the ghastly accident which occurred on Abuja-Kaduna highway.
He disclosed that the impact of the accident was more on Ocholi and his family members who were seated at the rear seats because they did not fasten their seat belts.
President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the council meeting with six ministers from the geopolitical zones paying tributes to the deceased.
All cabinet members will also visit Ocholi's family immediately after FEC meeting.
