Award-winning Nigerian singer and UN ambassador, Waje featured on CNN’s African Voices last month. She talked about several issues, including the African women project, her new album and her mission to help homeless kids in Nigeria.

The songbird also talked about how she uses her music platform to impact lives and be a voice to several Nigerians.

 Following the interview, Waje dropped the visuals of her song ‘Ominiknowest.’ Produced by EKelly and directed by Clarence Peters and shot in black and white, ‘Ominiknowest’ shows Waje at her fiercest hitting back at ‘naysayers’ and critics.

While Fela influenced the video, Waje take on several personas; from a fiery Malcolm X, to a sultry Marilyn Monroe, a 90’s Janet Jackson in all her tomboy glory and shades of the king of Pop Michael Jackson.
