The show titled ‘Chocolate City Unsigned’, is a synergy from Africa’s biggest homegrown music company, and Nigeria’s first all-black TV powerhouse, EbonyLife TV.

Ebonylife TV and Chocolate City Group have joined forces to create a reality TV show and talent hunt.

The show titled ‘Chocolate City Unsigned’, is a synergy from Africa’s biggest homegrown music company, and Nigeria’s first all-black TV powerhouse, EbonyLife TV.

In an announcement made today at the press conference, ‘Chocolate City Unsigned’ seeks to discover raw unsigned acts, give them a platform to hone their craft, and in the process achieve their dreams in music. It is all about discovering Africa’s biggest star.

The show will star the biggest stars from Chocolate City and others from the African scene will be a part of the show, contributing to guide the discovered talents to greatness. Ebonylife TV will take charge of quality production.

The show will run through each year, with the winner getting a deal with Chocolate City. The discovered acts who emerge winners of the show every year will be absorbed into Chocolate City, and offered a three single deal, which can be extended into an album.

M.I Abaga the CEO of Chocolate City Music commented: “Chocolate City has always sought to give back, always to connect Nigeria, and to give back. This platform is going to be one of the biggest to galvanise the entertainment scene. It is organized by Nigerian practitioners, and the focus is on the talent.”
