For Manchester United to bring Romelu Lukaku to Old Trafford, they have to cough-out £65 million to sign the in-form Everton striker, The Sun (UK).

It would be recalled that Everton signed Lukaku permanently in 2014 after his one year loan spell from Chelsea in 2013 for £28m.

The 22-year-old Belgian has scored 19 goals in all competitions so far this season and there are reports that top European clubs including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City are all struggling to get the player

However, Manchester United have intensified their move to lure the striker, with Everton hoping to fend off interest in the striker with a huge transfer fee.

Van Gaal’s men have been keen on snapping the striker but Everton are said to be desperate in keeping the Belgian.
