Chris Green, the chairman, Nigeria Football Federation’s Technical Committee, has posited that the match against Tunisia will be a different ball game and head coach Sunday Oliseh is aware.

It would be recalled that Chikatara’s hat trick helped the home-based Eagles thrash the Menas of Niger in their first game of Group C, while Tunisia and Ethiopia shared the spoils 2 – 2.

Green however posited that the team will be focused and take each game as it comes, adding that Oliseh is tactically sound as well as a good manager.

“Oliseh is very much aware of it and is preparing hard for the game.

“No two matches are the same. It depends on how we approach the game. I know the Tunisians will prepare well for us especially coming out with one point from their last match. We too must be on top of our game, to get a result for a possible qualification to the next stage.

“The team will be in full flight because they would have gone through the nervousness of playing their first game. Oliseh too has shown that he’s tactically sound and a good match manager.

“The players are confident and are in high spirits. We pray for good luck, health and form. I’m proud of the team and Oliseh, and I maintain that we should be patient and give him time to build a solid team and instill his philosophy. It was a great win for him and Nigerians,” he said via Daily Post.

Nigeria will file out against Tunisia on Friday January 22, in which a victory at the encounter will guarantee Oliseh’s charges a place in the last eight.
