President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the nation must promote and enhance teaching and learning of entrepreneurial skills in all schools.

The president spoke yesterday at the 2nd convocation ceremony of the Kaduna State University where an honorary doctorate degree of letters was conferred on him. The theme of the convocation was “Entrepreneurship for Development.”

Buhari assured that his government would support all efforts towards creating more jobs through the re-orientation of Nigerian youth towards an entrepreneurial mindset.

He also stated that in view of the declining internally generated revenue and over-dependence on dwindling oil revenues, there was need to seek other ways of diversifying the economy in order to boost revenue.
