The Secretary  to Rivers State Government, Chief Kenneth Kobani, has described as false and baseless allegations by the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) that Governor Nyesom Wike was plunging the state into debts by the amount of money he has borrowed from banks.

Kobani was reacting to allegations by the state Chairman of APC, Dr Davies Ikanya, that Wike was about borrowing another N10 billion from banks.

In an interview with journalists in Port Harcourt Tuesday, Kobani declared  that it was the immediate  past  administration  of Chibuike Amaechi that  left an economically bankrupt state which  Wike has diligently  revived.
