Prominent leaders in the Delta North area of Nigeria have assured the Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Ovwigho Igbuya that their people will always identify with his mission to bring positive development to the state.

The leaders and elders from Delta North in a statement issued in Asaba on Saturday, praised the Speaker for his efforts at providing strong leadership in the Delta State House of Assembly.

"Mister Speaker has offered Deltans a leadership of vision, a leadership of values and a leadership dedicated to a brighter tomorrow," signed by the spokesperson of Anioma Political Leaders Forum (APLF), Mrs Chinelo Elue.

The statement also described Hon Igbuya as a great source of inspiration, an icon of democracy, justice, accountability and development.

"His main concern is to make laws geared towards generating employment, ensuring integrative transportation system and developing infrastructure.

"We thank you for advancing the cause of humanity and helping to move the Anioma nation forward without asking anything from the people.

"We also thank you for doing the people's business," it read.

The leaders also described governor Ifeanyi Okowa as an embodiment of political excellence, development and kindness.
