The  Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Muhammadu Sanusi II), has picked the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, His Royal Highness, Alhaji  Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha  as his fourth wife.

The wedding Fatiha was consummated over the weekend at the  Lamido Palace in Yola , Adamawa state capital between Sanusi Lamido and Sa’adatu Barkindo, whose age is put at 18, with N100,000 dowry, amidst witnesses and guests.

During the wedding Fatiha, Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State was the Wali of Sanusi Lamido while Governor Muhammadu Bindow of Adamawa was the Wali of Sa’adatu Barkindo Mustapha.
