
Olympic gold medalist Stephen Kiprotich will on September 27 lead a charity run to raise funds for destitute children to access quality education.
The lucky children will be enrolled at Ggaba Market's early childhood education centre and Gems International School.
The run, dubbed 'Keep them learning', is organised by Stanbic Bank and Gems International School. It will start at Gems School in Butabika, Nakawa Division.
The school's chief executive officer, Mr Neville Sherman, emphasised that the school believes that every child has a right to quality education.
The chief executive officer of Stanbic Bank, Mr Patrick Mweheire, said the bank always put aside funds for worthy causes.
On that day, there will be other activities, including free eye clinic.
Registration is done at Stanbic Bank branches at Garden City, Lugogo and Entebbe, Gems Cambridge international School Butabika, National Theatre, Banana Boat in Bugolobi and Kisementi.
