The Chief Executive Officer of “Awka Friendly Gas”, Engineer Chukwudi Patrick Nwankwo has urged the current administration under the saddle of President Muhammadu Buhari to address bottlenecks confronting the oil and gas sector.
Engineer Nwankwo disclosed this at his Head Office situated at Moniya, Ibadan on Tuesday while he was being hosted on the ‘Meet Your CEO’ platform initiated by CEOAfrica to celebrate African entrepreneurship and leadership.
Engineer Nwankwo noted that it is usually an uphill task for most entrepreneurs to build a solid capital base because a lot of fund is required to sustain and promote any business venture.
While asked on the way forward, he stated that government can help by ensuring that banks make funds available for honest and genuine entrepreneurs with good and tangible plans.
He also urged the Federal Government to study the bottlenecks in some arms of the government like the DPR as they stand as one of the major regulators in the gas industry
