
Mavin Records signee; Di’Ja, opened up The Sierra Leonean-Nigerian singer, during an interview on her Coke Studio Africa session, on the kinds of menial jobs she had to do in order to be able to fuel her music career.
The Sierra Leonean-Nigerian singer said she did menial jobs such as being a waitress and a mascot at children’s parties just to pursue her dreams.
However, Di’Ja encouraged youths looking up to her not to give up on their dreams.
“I’ve tried and failed a lot of things in the past, same with music, I don’t even think am good at it as much yet, I’m still getting there but I’ve failed many times. Find what you are good at, practice every day, fail at it many times until you are good at it.” She said
On February 14, 2015, Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy announced the addition of Di’Ja into the group and she is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
Di’Ja is also a GLO ambassador.
