
Confederations Cup: Al Ahly Tops Group

Egyptian giants Al Ahly soccer team on Saturday 12/9/2015 sealed a first-place finish in their Group A of the 2015 Confederation Cup after a 1-0 win over Stade Malien.
The title holders finished the group confrontations with 13 points from six games to be tied with Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel who defeated Espérance 2-1.
The Red Devils topped the group thanks to a superior goal difference.
Al Ahly striker Amr Gamal, who came on as a second-half substitute, scored the goal before 15 minutes of the final whistle.
Both Al Ahly and Etoile have progressed into the semifinals of Africa's second-tier competition. They will face Zamalek and South Africa's Orlando Pirates in the final four.
