Namibia's men and women cyclists failed to win medals in their individual races on Friday at the All Africa Games (AAG) underway in Brazzaville, Congo.
Female riders Vera Adrian and Michelle Vorster finished fifth and sixth in the 12-kilometre race that consisted of 24 riders from 12 countries.
Adrian finished in 18 minutes and 07,85 seconds (18:07,85) and Vorster in 18:14,07.
Eritrea's Mosana Debesay won the race in 18:01,00, followed by Wehazit Kidane, also from Eritrea (18:05,07), Lise Olivier from South Africa (18:06,57) and Jeanne d'Arc Girubuntu of Rwanda (18:07,04).
The Namibian men - Dan Craven and Gerhard Mans - ended ninth and 15th out of 45 riders, respectively.
Craven clocked 15:54,89 and Mans 16:29,86.
Meron Teshome of Eritrea won the race in 15:14,62, followed by Gustav Basson of South Africa in 15:18,55 and Adil Barbari of Algeria (15:27,00).
"I am disappointed with the results; it was not a great ride for me today so there is nothing to be proud of," Craven told Nampa.
The cyclists will now participate in their last event, the road race.
The women will race on Saturday and the men on Sunday.
So far, Namibia has won three bronze medals, all of which were won by swimmer Daniela Lindemeier.
Namibia won seven medals - one gold, one silver and five bronze - at the 2011 AAG held in Maputo, Mozambique.
