Seven people died and 20 were injured in an explosion that occurred at the Malkohi Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp near Yola, on Friday morning. 

Maikohi is the biggest Internally Displaced person’s camp in Nigeria.

According to witnesses, the bomb was planted inside a tent near the major warehouse of the camp where 200 displaced persons who had just arrived from Madagali Local Government of Borno State, had been camped.
