Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has nullified requests to stop the demolitions of housing structures in the state.

The governor thereby, vowed that he would continue despite on-going ‘‘fetish activities’’ against him.

El-Rufai also dismissed rumours of his death adding that even his demise wouldn’t stop his work in the state.

The governor made the comments on Thursday, September 10, 2015, while addressing members of labour unions at the Government House.

El-Rufai said: “You can see me standing before you. I am not dead. The reason why they want me dead was because of the 24 billion naira I discovered in several accounts in the state

“They can go ahead with their fetish activities, I don’t care.”

The labour unions organized several marches across Nigeria to show support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption war.

They also demanded the death penalty for officials found guilty of corruption in the country.
