. The pioneer chairman of Independent Corrupt Practice Commission  of Nigeria Hon. Justice Mustapha Akanbi has hinted that proper investment in small scale entrepreneurship could help grow the economy.

Justice Akanbi made this statement while in Ilorin at a one-day retreat on leadership style, entrepreneurship and business development programmes.

The programme, which was flagged off by the elder statesman, was held at MAA Platform hall Ilorin. The elder statesman, who spoke to CEOAfrica correspondent during the programme, stated that the program was introduced to reduce the level of financial struggle and poverty decadence in the country.

Justice Akanbi further stated that the use of small scale entrepreneurship and business development programmes, will lead to the growth of the Nigerian economy.

He said the inability of most Nigerians to take business initiative and develop their businesses has cost them to rely on the government, which to a large extent has left both the citizens and government in critical conditions.
