Nigeria’s Billionaire, Oluwo Antonio Deinde Fernandez, 79, is dead.
Announcing his demise on Tuesday, Nigerian Journalist and Publisher, Dele Momodu, said: “Nigeria, and indeed Africa, has just lost one of its greatest sons, Ambassador Chief Antonio Dehinde Fernandez is gone.
“When I spoke to CHIEF ANTONIO OLADEINDE FERNANDEZ last Saturday, from the call placed to him by the Oba of Lagos, I had a premonition.”
Oluwo Antonio Oladeinde Fernandez was an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
Although he was not listed on the stock exchange floor, he was often regarded as one of Africa’s richest men.
Known for his myriad of exorbitant landed properties across Atlantic Ocean, his business acumen and flourish of investments no doubt, will hinder one from calculating his net worth.
