AAG 2015: Falcons face Congo, Tanzania and Cote d’Ivoire

Christopher Danjuma’s ladies has been handed a relatively easy draw for the 2015 All African Games billed for Congo Brazzaville

Nigeria senior women national team will face hosts Congo-Brazzaville, Tanzania and Cote d’Ivoire in the female football event of the 2015 All African Games to begin in September.

The draw held on Thursday saw the reigning African Queens who bowed out in the first round of the FIFA Women’s World Cup saw the Falcons seeded in Group A and will face Congo in their opening game of the championship.

In Group B, Cameroon will slug it out with South Africa, Ghana and Egypt with the top two teams in each group qualifying automatically for the semi-final.
