The Nigeria Police Force has threatened to arrest street hawkers and traders operating along the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja roads.

Also, all forms of street hawking and trading avtivities have been banned in FCT roads inter sections, traffic lights point and hol-ups withing the federal capital.

In the same vein, the police have prohibited unauthorized taxi parks and bus stops around the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.

According to the police, only buses and taxis painted in authorized commercial colours would be allowed to operate at designated taxi parks and bus stops in and around the Central Area, Abuja.

 it warned that violators would be apprehended and prosecuted as Police Units have been directed to enforce the relevant laws in this regards
