Senate President Bukola Saraki has approved N25,000,000 for Ramadan gifts for poor Muslims in Kwara.

The gifts will be distributed across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State. The disbursement of cash gift will be anchored by a five-man committee chaired by the former energy commissioner, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi.

Abdullahi said that the cash gift was in addition to the food items such as rice, yam flour, beans, milk, sugar, to the thousands of party faithful and other Muslim stalwarts across the state by Saraki’s constituency office last week.

He also disclosed that beneficiaries of the cash included islamic scholars, traditional rulers, elderly men and women, less-privileged and low-income youths across the state.
