A Lagos housewife, Mrs Joy Bakare, who had been delivered of her twin babies, died recently in her lover’s custody.

CeoAfrica reporter gathered that Joy died at a single mother’s apartment on Aya-Oye Street, Ejigbo, where she had been kept since the time she took in. She was hid away from her matrimonial home so as to cover up the shameful act.

A reliable source said that the deceased as well as her lover who was identified simply as Fatai already had children from their respective partners.

Joy was later found dead on the bed foaming in the mouth, few days after she had put to bed. It was the unceasing cry of the babies that alerted another single mother who then raised the alarm that attracted other neighbours.

Inasmuch as the cause of her death could not be immediately ascertained, her husband together with her lover were contacted, but they both rejected her corpse. Her remains were later accepted by her sister who then took the corpse to the Isolo General Hospital.

Meanwhile, Fatai has accepted the paternity of the babies.
