Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State on Saturday announced the appointment of a former Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Dr.Ifueko Omogui, to head the State Tax Reform Committee.

El-Rufai said the committee would review the state internal revenue generation, systems and laws.

The governor spoke at the first town hall meeting held at the late Gen.Hassan Katsina’s House, Kawo, Kaduna.

He added that the committee would be saddled with the responsibility of recommending ways on how the government could improve on its internal revenue drive.
