
One Abdullahi Adebayo, aged 29 years, has been alleged to have stolen 2,241 live cat fish valued at N1.3milloin from a pond being the property of his employer, Chi Farms at Ajanla village in Ibadan on 2 January 2014.
Adebayo has thus allegedly commited an offence punishable under section 390(6) of the criminal code ,cap 38 vol.11, Law of Oyo State of Nigeria, 2000.
The defendant was alleged to have perpertuated the same act on 28December 2015 where he stole 128 pieces of live cat fish from the agua department of Chi Farms at Ajanla village in Ibadan, valued at N14,500, being the property of his employer, Chi Farms at Ajanla village in Ibadan on 2January 2014 ,thereby commiting an offence punishable under section 390(6) of the criminal code ,cap 38 vol.11, Law of Oyo State of Nigeria, 2000.
The defendant was arraigned before Justice I. O. Uthman on Thursday.
The defendant pleaded not guilty.
The judge set his bail at N200,000 with two sureties and adjourned the case to 27 July 2015.
