Coach of Lobi Stars of Markurdi Justin Tenger has sensationally claimed the “ownership” of the Kwara State Stadium football pitch.
Speaking after his team forced home-side Kwara United to a one-all draw in a week 13 premier league tie Sunday, the coach was once again boastful of his unbeaten record at the stadium since his departure from Kwara United.
Tenger revealed that though several of his key players were missing from the encounter, the team held their own against the home team.
When asked about the strength of his opposition, Kwara United, Tenger said, “Kwara United were forced to a one-one draw on Sunday at the Kwara State Stadium after Obioma Arinze cancelled out Segun Alebiosu’s first-half goal. With this latest result, Kwara United are placed 13th on the premier league table with 15 points, and next play-away to Bayelsa United on Sunday.
