Oyo South representative in the National Assembly Soji Akanbi has said President Muhammadu Buhari will not rest until he reclaims Nigeria's money from the South African government.

It will be recalled that the South African government had, on 5 September  2014, seized $9.3 million cash belonging to Nigeria and a month later seized another $5.7 million, claiming that both funds were to be used for illegal purchase of arms.

Meanwhile, when Senator Akanbi was asked about his views on the seized funds, he said, "We all know what Buhari stands for when it comes to corruption and he will do anything possible to reclaim any illegal fund or wealth that belongs to Nigeria, which some people have diverted.

"It is not only about South Africa, but individuals who embezzled public funds. They should be prepared that Buhari would come after them and they would not go scot free because Buhari would not rest till the money is recovered."
