A family in Egbeda, Lagos is currently wailing and yelling instead of rejoicing after losing three children shortly after welcoming its fourth child.

The father had left all of them, Ifeoma, nine; Emeka, seven; and Udeoma, three, at home on Saturday to visit their mother and the newly born at the hospital when the incident occurred.

It was reported that the candle he lit to brighten their room was the cause of the inferno that consumed Emeka and his younger ones. They all died before help could get to them.

Ceoafrica reporter gathered that the charred bodies of the children had been deposited in a mortuary by the police.
