Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has said he feels the pain of the workers who have not been paid their salaries for months. According to a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo on Thursday by the governor’s media aide, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, Aregbesola said this when the Area Comptroller, Oyo and Osun Command of the Nigerian Customs Services , Mr. Muhammed Bawa, paid him a courtesy visit. Aregbesola also denied allegations of financial recklessness being levelled against him. The statement read, “This administration remains very sensitive to the welfare of Osun workers. The financial situation of the state that has made it unable for the state government to pay workers’ salary is disheartening and painful. “However, no one can establish a single instance of recklessness on the part of this government.”
