The chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Budget and Research and former governorship candidate of Labour Party in the 2014 Ekiti State governorship election, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, has formally writen the leadership of the House on his defection to his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, who read out Bamidele’s letter on Thursday morning at plenary, said the lawmaker has since moved to the party with his followers.
