Report reaching CEOAFRICA news desk states that a former Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Patrick Adegun, and his wife, Kikelomo, have been kidnapped.

The middle-aged medical practitioner and his wife were reportedly abducted last night as they were returning home from an outing.

CEOAFRICA Sources  gathered that it was around their Housing Estate neighbourhood in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, that the abductors seized them as they were about to enter into their compound in the estate.

It was also gathered that security agencies have been on the trail of the kidnappers as, according to sources, steps have been taken by the police and operatives of the department of state security to nab the abductors.

"The security operatives have been in and out of this area and although they have been very busy, we are not sure how far they have gone in tracing the criminals," a source in the area stated.
