Reps Collaborate With NEMA Over Rehabilitation Of Victims

The House of Representatives has mandated its Standing Committee on Emergency Management and Disaster to liaise with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in order to ensure speedy rehabilitation of rescued victims of the insurgency from the dreaded Sambisa Forest of the North-East.

The House resolution followed a motion on matters of urgent public importance moved by Hon. Friday Itulah (PDP, Edo) at plenary yesterday, which noted that the recent rescued hostages from terrorists’ hideout have been abused and traumatised.
