As Christians all over the world celebrate this year’s Easter tomorrow, Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State has called on Nigerians to live in peace and harmony for the nation to attain greatness.
In an Easter message issued and signed by his media director, Dr Cletus Akwaya, a copy made available to Saturday Tribune in Makurdi, the governor felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.
Suswam urged Christians to imbibe the lessons of Easter when Jesus Christ resurrected in glory three days after paying the price for the salvation of humanity.
The governor expressed the belief that Nigeria will rise to greatness following the toils of its people over the years.
He urged Christians to use the period of Easter to pray for the peaceful and successful conduct of the remaining general elections and the subsequent handover of power on May 29.
