Project director, Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) of the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P), Peter Papka has urged graduates interns to take advantage of the programme to rediscover themselves in order to be self-reliance.
Papka, who stated this during exit training programme organised for interns who had been under the scheme for the past 12 months in Akure, Ondo State capital, admonished the young graduates to be committed to the development of their innate potential.
Papka said the exit training programme became imperative, in oder to access and review the interns’ progress and experiences, saying the exit training would afford the interns an opportunity to plan for their entry into their planned business or careers, even as he noted that some of the things they were exposed to during the exit training would serve as guide.
