THE National Industrial Court (NIC), on Thursday, ordered the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to reinstate forthwith 180 sacked officers and men.

Justice Oluseun Adefolake Shogbola, in a judgment delivered on Thursday, directed the NSCDC to return the employment letters to the 180 affected staff and further ordered the corps to pay all their arrears, totaling about N1.2 billion.

The court also restrained the NSCDC from further tampering with the employment of the claimants.
