The Ondo State Government says Governor Olusegun Mimiko is set host Yoruba delegates to the National Conference.

The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kayode Akinmade, said this in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement said the aim of the summit is to study and review the outcome of the National Confab and how its resolutions will be implemented.

It was learnt that the summit would also be an opportunity to underscore the need to re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan.

The statement read in part, “Yoruba delegates to the recently held Confab will converge on Akure, the Ondo state capital on Thursday for a post-Confab summit.

“The main reason for the gathering is to study and review the outcome of the Confab as well as discuss its gains.”

It also mentioned that the summit will “advise the government on all matters necessary for the effective implementation of the Confab recommendations.”
