Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat and his wife, Amadou “Jarvis” Elizabeth, have announced that they are expecting their first child.

The couple made the announcement on Thursday through an Instagram post featuring photographs from their maternity shoot, bringing an end to months of speculation over a possible pregnancy.

Sharing their excitement, Peller and Jarvis reflected on their journey from dating to marriage and now impending parenthood, describing the development as the “most beautiful chapter” of their relationship.

“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon to be parents. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve prayed, we’ve grown, and through it all, God kept writing our story,” they wrote.

The couple added, “Today, we get to share the most beautiful chapter yet. A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer. Peller & Jarvis… and now, a little one on the way. God, thank You for everything. This is more than we could ever ask for.”

The announcement comes about two months after the couple celebrated their white wedding in August following months of publicly sharing their relationship and preparations for their marriage.

They had earlier held their traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos and subsequently formalised their union through a civil wedding in late July.

The arrival of their first child adds another milestone to the couple’s highly publicised relationship, which has continued to attract significant attention from their followers across social media.
