Nigerian TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as Sea King, has criticised Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, over recent attacks and abductions in Oyo State.

Sea King made the remarks in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, while reacting to the mass abduction of teachers and students of Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2026.

According to reports, bandits on May 17, 2026, killed one of the abducted teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, and circulated a video of the incident online. Another video also showed the school principal appealing to authorities to engage the attackers in order to secure the release of remaining victims.

Reacting to the development, Sea King criticised Igboho for what he described as his silence over the incident, despite previous promises to confront armed groups in the region.

Describing the activist’s alleged inaction as “political”, he said, “Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery.”

Tagging Igboho’s social media handle, he further questioned his past commitments, saying: “Where is Sunday_igboho1? You said nobody should campaign in Yoruba land except Tinubu. You said you wanted to eradicate those killing people in the region. Where are you now? Why are you silent? They have taken over Yoruba land.”

He added: “You vowed to eradicate the bandits. You promised to lead 50,000 men. Now you are back in Yorubaland, but the killings haven’t stopped. So where is the action? Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery, it’s politics.”

The comments come months after Igboho’s name was reportedly removed from the Federal Government’s wanted list by President Bola Tinubu.

Igboho recently returned to Nigeria after spending nearly five years in exile, following the invasion of his Ibadan residence by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in July 2021 over his agitation for a Yoruba Nation during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
