Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has raised alarm over an alleged case of domestic violence and physical assault.

The reality television star made the appeal during an emotional Instagram Live session late Friday night, where she appeared visibly distressed and was seen with a swollen face.

A video from the livestream, which has since gone viral on social media, captured Ilebaye crying and calling for help while a man believed to be her father was allegedly seen assaulting her in the background.

During the livestream, she repeatedly pleaded for assistance, saying: “Nigerians help me, I need to go. I need to leave this house, I’m being locked up. I’m tired of assault, please come and help me.”

Reacting to the incident, fellow BBNaija star Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as Tacha, called for urgent intervention.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story, Tacha appealed to anyone in Abuja who could assist law enforcement officials in locating Ilebaye’s residence.

“I really just want to know who is in Abuja right now that can take the police to Ilebaye’s house. Ilebaye’s face has been ruined. I don’t even know who did it, but from the video I have seen, they are really brutal,” she said.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the police or Ilebaye’s family regarding the incident.
