The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of candidates who successfully passed the 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test, inviting them to proceed to the next stage of its recruitment process.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the shortlisted candidates are to attend the Selection Board Interview for enlistment into the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
According to the statement, the names of successful applicants have been published on the Air Force’s official recruitment portal. The Selection Board Interview is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
The Air Force directed all shortlisted candidates to report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedules as indicated on the portal, warning that failure to do so will result in disqualification.
“All shortlisted candidates are required to report in line with their designated dates. Candidates who fail to report accordingly will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview,” the statement said.
NAF also reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free, cautioning applicants against making payments at any stage.
“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment,” it added.
The development follows the aptitude test conducted on December 5, 2025, across 15 centres nationwide, which attracted over 20,000 applicants.
The centres were spread across various locations, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt and Ikeja, in a move aimed at ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunity.
Ejodame noted that the recruitment process is anchored on fairness, integrity and strict adherence to established standards, stressing that the aptitude test remains a critical stage in selecting candidates based on merit.
He added that the Air Force remains committed to recruiting qualified personnel whose competence is vital to operational effectiveness and the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.
