Pharm. (Dr.) Joel E.B. Adagadzu, FPSN, FPCPharm, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Ilobanafor family over the passing of their revered patriarch, Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor, describing his transition at 93 as “a moment that calls for celebration rather than sorrow.”
In a message to the family, Dr. Adagadzu noted that although death remains an unavoidable end to human existence, the departure of a loved one still leaves a painful void. He, however, emphasized that Pa Ilobanafor’s remarkable age and the impactful life he lived should inspire gratitude and reflection rather than deep grief.
“Death is a necessary and inevitable end to human existence. Yet, when it occurs at whatever age, the sadness that accompanies it can be devastating at times,” he said.
Speaking further, Dr. Adagadzu lauded the late nonagenarian’s legacy of dignity, character, and devotion to family, adding that his long life was evidence of divine favour and a purpose well fulfilled.
“For our late beloved Daddy, passage at the ripe age of 93 should be a moment of less sadness and more celebration,” he stated.
He joined friends, associates and well-wishers in praying for the Ilobanafor family and for the eternal rest of their father.
“I join many others in condoling with the Ilobanafor Dynasty over their loss and fervently pray for the eternal repose of their Patriarch, Papa Ilobanafor. My heartfelt condolences, please,” he added.
The Ilobanafor family continues to receive nationwide sympathy following the passing of the respected elder.
