The Deputy President and Chairman of the Research and Project Trade Group Council of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Comrade Olukoya Adepeju Joseph, has extended his heartfelt sympathy to the Managing Director of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, following the passing of his father, Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor.

In a solemn message to Prince Ilobanafor, Comr. Olukoya described the late patriarch as an “icon whose life continues to cast a guiding light long after his transition.” He noted that although the vacuum left by a beloved father can never truly be filled, his values and influence remain an enduring legacy.

“The passing of your dad will no doubt leave a void in your life and family that will be impossible to fill,” he said. “But his memory should serve as a constant source of light and guidance to you even during this time that you are being tested.”

Comr. Olukoya emphasized that the true measure of Ogbuefi Ilobanafor’s greatness lies in the character and integrity he instilled in his children, which continue to shape their lives and contributions to society.

“Even though your dad will not be physically present anymore, his legacy lives on in the values he instilled in you,” he added. “You should strive to honor his memory by living a life of integrity, showing love and kindness to others, and finding joy in the simple things.”

He further encouraged Prince Ilobanafor to remain grateful for the years shared with his father, noting that such bonds are priceless. “His influence, I believe, has woven you into who you are; therefore you should be forever grateful for the time you shared together,” he said.

Comr. Olukoya concluded his message with a prayer for the peaceful repose of the late elder statesman. “May perpetual light continually shine on him, and may his soul rest in peace,” he prayed.

The Ilobanafor family continues to receive condolences from friends, associates, professional bodies, and institutions across Nigeria as they honor the life of the late Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor.
