Pharmacists in America, NAPPSA Extend Condolences to CEOAFRICA Boss Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, over Father’s Demise

The Nigerian Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas (NAPPSA) has extended its heartfelt condolences to the Chief Executive Officer of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, following the passing of his father, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor (Esesuo Agbara I of Ozegu), who died on June 22, 2025, at the age of 93.

In a condolence message personally endorsed by its Immediate Past President, Pharm. Emmanuel C. Ezirim, the association expressed deep sympathy to the Ilobanafor family and the entire Enugu community over the loss of a man described as having lived a fulfilled life and left behind a remarkable legacy.

Pharm. Ezirim, who noted that although he never met the late Chief in person, said he could attest to his greatness through the character and integrity of his son, Prince Cletus.

“We have forged a great friendship and partnership, and with total confidence, I say that the Chief left a great legacy. You shall know them by their fruits, and the Chief left us with his best,” he stated.

He further described Prince Cletus Ilobanafor as a man of genuine warmth and character, adding that he exemplifies the values of his family name. “His smiles are always from the bottom of his heart. He bears no ill will toward anyone and remains a man of absolute integrity,” Ezirim added.

The NAPPSA Former President noted that while the association mourns with the Ilobanafor family, it also celebrates a life of impact and honour. “From all of us at NAPPSA, we send our condolences but celebrate with the Ilobanafor and Enugu community a life well lived. The best is yet to come,” he concluded.

Following the announcement of the burial arrangements for the late Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, NAPPSA joined the growing list of individuals and organizations who have sent their heartfelt condolences to Prince Cletus and his family.

Among those who have also expressed their sympathies are: Dr. Teresa Isichei Pounds, President of the West African Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (WASPEN); Professor Adeyinka Falusi, Founder of the Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation (SCHAF); the Ywom Traditional Council, Garkawa District of Mikang Local Government Area, Plateau State, under the leadership of His Royal Highness, AIG Bashir E. Makama Dabup III (psc+Rtd), the Mwo-Ywom of Garkawa; Dr. Adedayo Olugbade Ajayi, Director General of Afe Babalola International Study Centre (ABISC); Pharm. (Prof.) Lere Baale, CEO of Business School Netherlands and President of the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy, along with his wife, Mrs. Ife Baale; and Pharm. Elechi Oyim, National Chairman, Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHAPN); among several other notable personalities from across Nigeria and the diaspora.
