
The Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation (SCHAF) has extended its heartfelt condolences to Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, the MD/CEO of CEOAFRICA, on the passing of his beloved father, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor (Esesuo Agbara I of Ozegu).
In a condolence message signed by the Foundation’s Founder and President, Professor Adeyinka Falusi, on behalf of the Board of Trustees of SCHAF under the chairmanship of Prof. Abiodun Falusi, the organization expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the Ilobanafor family during this period of grief.
Professor Falusi described the late Chief Ilobanafor as “a man of integrity, wisdom, and community service whose impactful life and values will continue to inspire generations.”
She further noted that “Chief Ogbuefi Ilobanafor’s legacy of leadership, honesty, and compassion lives on in the lives he touched and the family he raised. We share in the pain of his passing, but we also celebrate a life well lived and dedicated to service, family, and faith.”
The letter added that the Foundation is praying for divine strength and comfort for Prince Ilobanafor and his family, urging them to take solace in the cherished memories and enduring legacy their patriarch leaves behind.
“May God grant you and your loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and may his soul rest in perfect peace,” the message concluded.
The late Chief Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 93, is fondly remembered for his life of integrity, service, and devotion to the welfare of others.
