
The Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), a technical arm of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) is poised to host its 44th Annual National Scientific Conference, themed "Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacy Practice," alongside the motto "IFEADIGO 2025," which translates to "Light Has Come."
This significant event will take place from July 22 to 27, 2025, at the International Conference Centre in Awka, Anambra State. It aims to unite key stakeholders, industry leaders, and esteemed personalities within the pharmaceutical sector to discuss advancements in community pharmacy practice in Nigeria.
Among the distinguished guests attending the conference is Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour. Pharm. Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), will be the Chief Host, highlighting the collaborative efforts between community pharmacists and the broader healthcare community.
The conference will also feature Igwe (Pharm) Alex Uzo Onyido, the Igwe Ezechuamagha of Ogidi Kingdom, and HRM Obi (Dr.) Gibson Nwosu, the Ezeuzu II of Awka Ancient Kingdom, underlining the important role of traditional leaders in health promotion. Additionally, Pharm. (Sir) Ikechukwu Onyechi, MD/CEO of Alpha Pharmacy & Stores Ltd, and Prof. Chukwuemeka Michael Ubaka, the Honorable Commissioner for Health in Imo State, will add their insights on advancing pharmaceutical practices.
