With just 29 days remaining until the ACPN National Conference tagged "IFEADIGO 2025," we take a closer look at the impressive New Anambra Government House, an architectural marvel situated on 23 hectares of land. This expansive facility boasts over 2 kilometers of fencing and features an internal road network comprising 3.2 kilometers of dual carriageways.
The complex includes a high-rise secretariat building, a warehouse, the government house building, the governor’s lodge, a clinic, a fire station, a fuel dump, an industrial kitchen, the deputy governor’s office, a sports complex, an amphitheater, a computer server building, a banquet hall, and residential apartments designated for civil and public servants. The quality of construction within this complex is emblematic of modern governance, with well-planned lawns, ample parking spaces, and high-speed fiber optic infrastructure integrated throughout the facility.
Arguably the largest state government house in Nigeria, this carbon-neutral mega-edifice is poised to be the greenest government house in the country, featuring thousands of economic and ornamental trees in its gardens and along its perimeters.
The Anambra State government house, a true beauty to behold, was officially commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 8, 2025.
As we look forward to the "IFEADIGO 2025" conference, taking place from July 22 to 27, 2025, at the International Conference Center in Awka, we are reminded of the importance of modern infrastructure in supporting the advancement of healthcare services. This year’s theme, “Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacists’ Practice in Nigeria,” emphasizes the need for innovation and collaboration in enhancing health outcomes across the country.
Join us as we celebrate not only the architectural glory of the New Anambra Government House but also the promise of a transformative future for healthcare in Nigeria. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue the countdown to IFEADIGO 2025!
