Amb. Comrade Egunjobi Samuel Oluwaseun, the National President of the National Association of Nigeria Colleges of Education Students and Chairman of the Presidents of Colleges of Education, Universities, and Polytechnics in Nigeria, has passionately expressed his support for the Geneith Health Competition. Speaking on behalf of over 40 million Nigerian students, he emphasized the initiative's critical importance, declaring, “This is not just a malaria campaign; it is a life-saving mission. Nigerian students are fully behind this. We must fight this disease together.”
Egunjobi commended the collaboration between CEOAFRICA, who organized the initiative, Geneith Pharmaceuticals Ltd, the sponsor, and Coatal Forte Softgel, who powered the competition. “I would like to commend the effort of Geneith Pharmaceuticals and CEOAFRICA for bringing about this innovative initiative. They have done a remarkable job,” he said, adding that the responsibility of combating malaria cannot rest solely on the government. “We can’t put all our problems on the government; as individuals, we must also contribute to the communities we live in,” he asserted.
Reiterating the collective commitment of the student body, he stated, “We assure you that on behalf of the over 40 million students in Nigeria, we are solidly behind you in pursuing this great initiative. Together, I am confident we will achieve our goals in the fight against malaria.”
Egunjobi encapsulated the essence of the campaign by stating, “Health is wealth; let us all tackle this silent killer together.” His impassioned remarks not only highlight the urgency of addressing malaria but also call on students to step up, take action, and become advocates for health in their communities.
As the Geneith Health Competition unfolds, Egunjobi's endorsement reinforces the initiative's potential to mobilize youth, uniting them in a concerted effort to eradicate malaria and champion healthy practices throughout Nigeria.
