Hosting our conference here is both a celebration of Anambra’s contributions to national development and an opportunity to deepen partnerships that will further elevate healthcare delivery.”

During the visit, Ezeh outlined several objectives for the conference, including:

· Fostering innovation among community pharmacists in leveraging technology for patient-centered services.

· Advocating for supportive policies that integrate pharmacists into primary healthcare teams.

· Building capacity among members to adapt to emerging healthcare trends.

· Contributing to Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Nigeria through the commissioning of an ultramodern Pharmacare Centre in underserved areas.

Pharm. Ezeh also commended Governor Soludo for his efforts to enhance the pharmacy profession and healthcare overall, citing specific initiatives like the establishment of a pharmaceutical manufacturing hub and key appointments of pharmacists in government positions. “Your leadership is demonstrating Anambra’s reputation for excellence,” he noted.

As the meeting concluded, both Governor Soludo and Pharm. Ezeh expressed optimism for the conference, emphasizing its potential to highlight the vital role of community pharmacists in driving better health outcomes across Nigeria.
